Are you an experienced Health, Safety, Environment, and Wellbeing (HSEW) professional ready to make a significant impact? A full-time permanent Health and Safety Business Partner position has become available to join AGL where we are committed to safety excellence and environmental responsibility.You will guide and support AGL’s Corporate functions in meeting AGL's HSE requirements, resulting in improved safety and health outcomes for Corporate staff and contractors.What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Head of Operations, Health & Safety – Customer Markets and Corporate, you will:Provide knowledge of HSE best practice to Corporate business units, though effective communication and engagement. Ensure compliance with HSEW requirements enterprise wide. Utilise data to identify trends, driving continuous improvement in Health and Safety practices.
Provide information for internal and external reporting, including monthly Corporate HSE reports. Support ongoing improvement in HSE performance, governance, and risk management. Stay updated on legislative changes and communication of these enterprise wide.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver HSEW programs. Lead risk workshops, manage compliance, and participate in incident investigations. Provide education and coaching to leaders on HSEW matters.
About you
What you’ll bring to the table
Demonstrated experience in similar Health and Safety role in a Corporate environment. Experience driving safety culture in an office/corporate environment. Knowledge of HSE legislation.
Exposure and understanding of compliance to care – behavioural based safety knowledge. Influencing stakeholders - coaching and partnering enterprise wide. Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
Experience managing incident investigation (desirable). Diploma level or above qualifications in an HSE discipline (desirable).
