We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our Client Services support team as a Health Receptionist. Direction Psychology operates in a variety locations across Perth. We are a team of General Registered Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists and Mental Health Social Workers, who genuinely care about the mental health and well-being of people, families and the community as a whole.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in delivering a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, good work ethic and attention to detail will ensure smooth operations in our reception area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage incoming calls and inquiries
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Verify insurance information and process payments.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area.
- Provide support to the team of Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists and Mental Health Social Workers.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer systems and basic office software.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented attitude.
