About the role
Join our dynamic Health Information Services team at South West Healthcare (SWH)! We have exciting full-time and part-time opportunities for enthusiastic Health Information Managers or Clinical Coders.
Enjoy a supportive management environment and the chance to work in various areas including clinical coding, casemix analysis, quality audits, and electronic health record development.
As SWH transitions to a fully electronic health record in the coming months, flexible hybrid working arrangements (both in-office and remote) may be considered.
Position overview
- Permanent, Full Time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO, and part time positions are available. Please state your preferred hours in your application
- Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Dependent on qualification and/or experience
- Health Information Manager Grade 2 - Salary Range $88,467 - $101,691 pro rata, plus superannuation
- Clinical Coder, Administrative Support Officer Grade 2 - Salary Range: $74,448 - $80,433 pro rata plus superannuation

- As a Health Information manager, you will possess sound knowledge of relevant legislation and specialist expertise in Health Information management.
- As a Clinical Coder you will have extensive knowledge in clinical coding and auditing, with experience in a range of case mix complexities.
- Excellent organizational, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management abilities to meet deadlines.
- Appropriate qualifications in Health Information Management or Clinical Coding.
