About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to be part of the innovative Health Promotion Team within the Monash Health Public Health and Community division, working across the local government areas of Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia.
If you are an experienced Health Promotion practitioner with energy, drive, and a flexible work approach, then this will appeal to you. This role will implement Health Promotion initiatives utilising contemporary Health Promotion practices within a supportive team environment. The role will be a mix of site based and working from home. Travel to settings within the areas serviced, and to other Monash Health sites is a requirement.
What are the skills and experience required?
  • A Bachelor Degree in Health Promotion, Health Sciences or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years Health Promotion experience
  • An understanding of Health Promotion core competencies
  • An understanding of contemporary Health Promotion, including settings-based and systems approaches
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
Desirable
  • Post graduate qualification in a related area
