About the role
A Grade 1Health Promotion Officer is responsible for the delivery of planning, implementing and evaluation of Health Promotion initiatives within Eastern Health, the general community and other settings.
The Health Promotion team priorities are aligned with guidelines received from the Department of Health as well as local population health priorities aligned with the Yarra Ranges Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan. The position also works to support staff wellbeing at Eastern Health.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:(examples below)
- Post Graduate qualifications in Health Promotion or any other undergraduate or postgraduate qualification relevant to the field of Health Promotion.
- Demonstrated ability in planning, implementing and evaluation of Health Promotion initiatives within Eastern Health, the general community and other settings
- Strong verbal communication skills and an ability to build working relationships and networks.
- Effective stakeholder relationship and partnership development skills
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
