We are working with a large and ASX-listed mining company with a diverse portfolio of operations.  

This is an opportunity to play an important role in the corporate Health & Safety team, supporting the success of the field-based operations from Perth.

What you may be doing:

Reporting into the Health & Safety Manager, your role will play an integral part in supporting the business toward achieving their HSEQ strategy and objectives. 

• Maintenance of accurate HSEQ records and documentation, 
• Facilitating and taking minutes during HSE meetings and catch ups, 
• Assisting with document control, 
• Assisting with injury management and supporting employees with their appointments, 
• Assisting with any incident investigations from the field,
• Administration of the safety management system,
• Toolbox meetings and Health & Safety communications. 

About you:

• Excellent communication and positive attitude toward your work, with a strong desire to collaborate, 
• Previous experience in a Health & Safety Administrator role, 
• Experience or strong interest towards to mining and resource sector,
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite, 
• Strong capability in written communication, administration and data entry, 
• Minimum Certificate IV in WHS or near completion of the qualification.
