A great opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join a global organisation, driving their health and safety functions across Western Australia (Perth metro area). This is a standalone H&S role in WA working alongside a small compliance team, reporting to the National Health and Safety Manager in NSW, and is a very critical position.
Working for a fantastic global Facilities Management company, the services provided on site include cleaning, catering, security, groundskeeping, technical maintenance (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), office relocations, fit-outs etc. across multiple sites. Sectors include Government, manufacturing, corporate offices, retail etc.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Ensure HSE policies and processes are being implemented.
- Conduct training, toolbox meetings etc.
- Provide advice to senior leadership team and provide feedback and reporting to Health & Safety Manager.
- Prepare sites for ACC Audits.
- Maintain the incident database.
- Build up the existing safety capabilities.
- 3-5 years’ experience in an all-round HSE role preferably within the FM sector working with multiple sites is required.
- Strong understanding of the safety legislation.
- Knowledge of audit process (ACC, ISO etc).
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative and responsibility for national health and safety requirements.
- Implement improvements to existing processes.
- Confident communicator to provide advice to the C-Suite, feedback to local and national management teams, as well as being connected with operators on site.
- A Cert IV in HSE is desirable.
- A qualification / experience as a Paramedic is desirable.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Enjoys being hands-on.

The role is offering an annual package of circa $100,000 + company vehicle + fuel card.
