The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a professional Health & Safety Advisor in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) to service our NT Operations team from a Brisbane base on a full time permanent basis. You will work in a supportive multi-disciplined HS team where your experience and knowledge will be valued.
Reporting to the Operations Health and Safety Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting our NT team as a member of the leadership team, while also providing HS advice and guidance to our corporate offices located in the major capitals. Key Responsibilities
- Execute operational activities in compliance with APA HSEH Management Systems
- Provide technical advice and coaching including safety leadership, risk management, HSE systems, incident investigation and audits
- Identify and manage the Health & Safety impacts of change
- Attend and guide HSE Committee meetings within your areas of responsibility
- Provide a field presence with the ability to travel interstate.
- Tertiary qualification in safety, risk management or a related discipline
- Strong computing skills
- Experience in conducting HS investigations with ICAM or like qualifications well regarded
- Have conducted audits as a lead auditor would be desirable
