About the role
You will champion health and safety across each stage of the project from the planning, the execution and through to the completion phase, ensuring we not only meet and follow the OHS legislative requirements but exceed and lead with innovation from start to finish as we uphold our commitment to safety across the Grove Group.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the National HSE Manager the primary responsibilities of this role are as follows:
- Support the delivery and implementation of the HSE management plan in all areas of the business to ensure compliance.
- Proactive approach to improving the health and safety standards onsite through regular site inspections.
- Regularly monitor and report on site risks and hazards and address non-conformance's
- Respond to HSE incidents and assist with investigating the root cause.
- Ensure appropriate reporting and recording processes are adhered to.
- Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve safe places and systems of work for all employees.

- Keep up-to-date on legislative changes and industry-safe work practices
- Assist the HSE Manager with Fire Safety and First Aid requirements.
- Conduct HSE training as required to build competency and awareness.
About you
- Certificate 4 in OHS.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience
- Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver best practice outcomes.
- Ideal experience would be a medium to large company.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver on deadlines, work under pressure and work autonomously.
- Team player with good relationship building skills.
- Experience and proficiency in using Office Suite and digital HSEQ systems.
- Strong reporting, communication, and excellent attention to details skills.
