About this role
This position is responsible for overseeing and maintaining a standardised Area Wide Food Safety & Quality Plan which meets North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) goals and objectives. This includes the development, implementation and compliance of Food Services Safety & Quality Systems across NMHS Food Services.
This role reports to the Area Manager Food Services.

We are looking for a passionate Safety and Quality Officer to join our new Food Services leadership team. The successful applicant will play a crucial role ensuring that Food Safety Plans align, and compliance is maintained across multiple hospitals.
You will advocate for the excellence and safety of our patient food, actively fostering a positive Food Safety culture within our team.
As a driver of positive change, your ability to bridge gaps, standardise and align priorities will help us ensure a seamless safe food production and service experience, focussed on patient centred care.
