Your new role
Focusing on the Victorian (and some NSW) operations, your new role will see you lead the Health, Safety and Quality function of this highly successful organisation. Vacant due to retirement, your role will report directly to the CEO and support various sites across the state.
With no direct reports, your role will be specifically responsible for the development, implementation and deliverance of policies and processes required to maintain a high safety standard across business operations.
Key requirements include:
- Implementation and monitoring of HSQ policies, plans and programs, including; HSQ targets, objectives and KPIs
- Conduction of operational quality audits, including completing RFI’s and Gap Analyses.
- Maintaining accreditation of International Standards for Occupational Health, Safety ISO 45001, Environment ISO 14001, Quality ISO 9001 and NHVR Accreditation
- Partner with key stakeholders across the business to provide advice and training on safety legislation, policies and requirements and provide regular updates on changes to these
- Management and maintenance of compliance and regulatory obligations
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years of experience in a lead Safety role
- Background in transport safety and relevant accreditation
- Lead Auditor qualification and Investigation training (ICAM or similar)
- Australian Driver’s License and ability to travel intrastate regularly and interstate occasionally
- $150k + super + car + 20% short-term incentive
