This is a position for our newly built ADC in Redbank, Queensland. You'll have the opportunity to truly put your safety stamp on the site. The successful applicant will provide timely advice and support to our Operations team for the site to deliver a safe and healthy workplace. You'll be called upon as the site's Subject Matter Expert and provide information to enable the ADC to achieve strategic Health, Safety and Wellbeing objectives, performance targets and compliance.
This isn't an 100% office-based role -you'll be tracking your daily steps in no time! The role includes on floor interactions and conversations with our Automation Partner, contractors and our Operational team to ensure safety captured in key decisions.
The Redbank ADC Health and Safety Specialist will lead and manage the overall safety performance for the site. You'll be responsible for activities such as implementing our SafetyCARE safety systems, audits, internal and external stakeholder engagement, regulator engagement, completing investigations, supporting the health and safety committee, safety coaching and support of contractors, emergency management, managers and team members and driving continual improvement strategies to deliver best in class outcomes.

• Extensive experience working in a Senior Safety leadership role
• Strong background working in an operational FMCG distribution Centre, Manufacturing or Automated Environment is highly desirable
• Proven record of successfully implementing strategic plans
• Proven record of driving and supporting change within teams
• Proven record of providing technical expertise and coaching all various operational levels
• Experience in leading audit
• Experience in self insurance audit and license retention
• Experience in leading and supporting investigations
• Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring operational teams in safety topics such as incident response
• Degree preference- Safety or Legal Related Discipline (Risk/Hazard management, Ergonomics)
• Solution oriented, with strong-problem solving ability
• Strong communicator that can influence and collaborate for great outcomes
• Knowledge of relevant H&S Legislation
• Understanding of Dangerous Goods
