Northern Star is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Administrator to join our Corporate office located in Subiaco for a 12-month Fixed Term contract. Reporting to the Health & Safety Systems Coordinator, your primary role is to maintain, validate, and improve WHS data management systems. This is a support-based role involving troubleshooting problems on-site, systems improvement/development, and ad hoc reporting. Your main responsibilities will include: Assist employees with the use of data management systems and related business applications. Assist and troubleshoot issues with Health and Safety Systems through email and Service Now Ticket requests. Liaise with other internal departments or Stakeholders to champion the use of Health and Safety systems and data. Assist with developing standards and guidelines for the use of database management systems. Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary. Required skills and experience: Minimum five years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining industry. Demonstrated ability in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for both goods and services contracts. Substantial experience in the development, negotiation, and ongoing management of contractual and commercial arrangements with service providers and suppliers. Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from data and market intelligence to identify and realise opportunities. Outstanding commercial awareness. Attention to detail and excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in both a team and autonomously.
