Our client is a family-owned business looking for an experience Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
Duties
- Perform mechanical diagnosis, repairs and service of equipment for breakdowns/field service
- Repair and replace defective parts, components, and systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on diesel engines, fuel systems, exhaust systems, and other critical components.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess vehicle conditions and identify necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
Qualification and skills
- Trade qualification (Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Equivalent)
- 2 years' experience in the industry
- Driving license
- High Risk Work License (desirable)
