Based in Truganina, our client is seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (experienced in Field Service) to contribute to their workshop-based operations, as well as providing on-the-road service excellence when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, fitting and modifications on heavy vehicles.
- Conduct on-site service visits, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of mechanical issues.
- Utilize expertise in hydraulics to troubleshoot and repair and fit hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic (required)
- Experience in the workshop and on the road (required)
- Strong background in hydraulics (required)
- Dual tradesperson qualifications are advantageous.
- Valid MR truck license is advantageous; the company will support upskilling if necessary.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- 8-hour workdays, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
