Duties of the role- Conduct all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of Heavy Vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics and fabrications
- Installations and commissioning of mechanical/ hydraulic components and systems
- Carry out non- routine repairs as necessary
- Ensuring the fleet is maintained to, and in compliance with Fleet Management Standards, with an emphasis on safety
- Supervise and give direction to Apprentices as required
- Onsite checks and breakdowns.
- Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Current NSW Trade Licence
- Ability to diagnose and repair defects
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Minimum Class C drivers Licence
- Willing to obtain a HR Licence.
- Permanent full-time position
- Commencing rate of $47.00 per hour
