Job Description:
We are seeking a suitably qualified Heights Related First Aid and Rescue Trainer & Assessor to join our dynamic team In both Perth & Brisbane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing training programs that focus on first aid and rescue techniques in elevated environments. This role requires a strong background in heights safety, excellent communication skills, and a passion for educating others.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging heights related first aid and rescue courses, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Design and update training materials, including presentations, handouts, and practical exercises.
- Conduct theoretical and practical assessments to evaluate participants' understanding and competency levels.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to individuals to enhance their learning and skills development.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to continually improve training programs.
- Collaborate with the training team to identify opportunities for course enhancements and new offerings.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation of assessments, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Assist in the development of training proposals and participate in client meetings when required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Trainer & Assessor in heights related first aid and rescue courses.
- Possess relevant certifications such as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of heights safety regulations, first aid techniques, and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt training delivery to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Sound organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Current first aid certification and a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel to client sites occasionally.
