We are on the search for dedicated and experienced Complex Mental Health Support workers to work in SILS homes and community access in either Lake Macquarie,Newcastle, Maitland or Cessnock that have a caring attitude to assist people and the team to deliver quality care in their daily lives
You will be valued and supported to ensure you can provide the same to the participants and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all administrative tasks are completed to the highest standard
Liaise with stakeholders
Manage Participants challenging behaviours
Risk Management - Identify and manage
Ensure Behavioural Support plans are adhered to
Resolve conflicts to ensure ongoing quality of service
onsite Induction of new team members
The delivery of quality services
Reliable and punctual to shifts
Maintaining ethical conduct in all areas of work
Encouraging and supporting clients to engage in activities including gentle prompting to complete self care tasks.
Assisting with planning of daily activities and everyday life requirements such as finance management and problem solving.
Requirements
Certificate III or higher relevant qualifications in Disability
Valid Working with children check
Valid NDIS Check
NDIS modules
Children of the Guardian Modules
