Form of workThe Society of Saint Hilarion Inc. Aged Care is a not-for-profit organisation with over 30 years of experience providing Residential Aged Care services across two sites and our Home Care and Community programs.
We are currently seeking a full time Registered Nurse for our Home Care business. You will work with our team to deliver high quality care to older people living in the community.
The Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical oversight of all Home Care clients, conduct clinical assessments and reviews, liaise with clients and their advocates with regard to their current clinical needs and monitoring of their health requirements. You will be responsible for a small number of high level clients that require ongoing clinical oversight.
Typical duties include:
- Conduct clinical assessments.
- Undertake observations
- Provide reports and treatment recommendations
- Undertake wound care
- Oversight and management of medication
- Liaise with other clinicians
- Make referrals
About You:
- 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current APHRA registration
- Australian working rights
- Hold a current Australian driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (Essential).
- Italian language skills, in particular verbal (Highly Desirable).
- Familiarity with information technology (Essential).
- A National Police Clearance no more than 12 months old (or willingness to obtain one).
