The exciting opportunity:
- Live and work in Newman, the largest town in WA’s East Pilbara region
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify care needs
- Develop positive rapport and effective relationships with clients and their families to determine their goals
- Create person centred care plans that enable clients to live independently in their homes
- Provide clinical care to mainly Indigenous clients in a culturally appropriate manner
- Keep thorough documentation and comprehensive progress notes so accreditation standards are met
- Delegate care activities to Support Workers and other multi-disciplinary staff members
- Connect clients to the community by drawing on their interests and linking them with local activities
- Implement and support quality improvement activities
- Excellent support from a Clinical Nurse Manager
- Work for a community focused provider delivering care and services that are respectful to the Indigenous culture
- Experience a different lifestyle and be exposed to Home Care in a regional setting
- Be guided and supported by your dedicated 3D Recruit Career Consultant, assisting with CV creation, interview preparation and career advice
- $55 - $60 an hour + super + salary packaging + remote living allowance + three months free accommodation
- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated ability working as a Registered Nurse within Home Care or residential aged care
- Willing to travel across local communities to deliver care in clients homes and at day centres
- Nurturing, compassionate and sensitive to the culture of Indigenous Australians
- Eager to embrace a new lifestyle and make a significant impact in a small regional town
