AutoGrab is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will help lead the month-end close and consolidation process, including preparation of relevant journals as required. They will also play a crucial role in building and maintaining a high-performing team at AutoGrab, both locally and overseas, contributing to our global success and growth.

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in enabling us to scale effectively and efficiently as we rapidly expand. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting policies, accounts receivable / payable experience, cash-flow management, a willingness to liaise with external parties and have a desire to grow their career.
Requirements
- Prepare month-end reporting and variance analysis the business and its subsidiaries
- Manage monthly payroll to ensure accurate and timely payment as contracted
- Ensure good internal controls are maintained for accounts payable functions
- Assist with review of monthly tasks, including general ledger reconciliations and accounts payable
- Involvement in critical finance projects (e.g. system migrations, business combinations, capital transactions etc).
- Take a lead role in the review and delivery of half-year and full-year financial reports.
- Assist with managing the external audit process.
- Take ownership of customer billing, including processing and set up of debit payments
- Assist with annual budgeting, cash flow forecasting
- Provide technical accounting advice, financial information, and reporting to management.
- Helping the company meet its lofty growth ambitions cross borders.
What we are looking for
- Demonstrated expertise in accounting with sound technical accounting skills with a professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA.
- Understanding of accounting standards and accounting for key judgmental areas including provisions, accruals.
- Strong Xero proficiency, competent with Excel.
- Team player, who is looking to work at a high-growth company.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, and collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment.
