As a Home and Community Care worker, you will build quality relationships with elderly individuals.
About You:
We are looking for empathic support workers who will travel to different client homes and provide clients with assistance, support, and encouragement of independence to reside in their chosen community.
As a support worker, you be required to:
- Help with domestic assistance, meal preparation and shopping
- Assist with transport to and from errands, providing companionship and social support.
- Personal care, including showering, dressing, continence care.
- Be committed to providing consumer directed care.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Home and Community Care (HACC), or equivalent
- Current Federal Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Covid vaccination and state government booster requirements
- Unrestricted driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Full Comprehensive Insurance
- Current paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment)
- Current paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment)
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references. One of those references will be required from a Supervisor/ Management role.
