You’ll ideally have at least 1 year of experience in admissions, with a focus on accuracy of data, high-level customer service and compliance with internal/external processes, procedures and government legislation. Exposure to international student admissions would be a huge bonus.

What will set you apart?
- Previous experience in a similar position in international student admissions would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of Australia’s education sector
- Experience with using the Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS) for various reporting of student enrolment variations to the Department of Education and Training.
- High attention to detail
- Able to confidently communicate and work with people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Main responsibilities
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of student applications and offer letters in order to maximize the conversion of enquiries into applications and enrolments.
- End-to-end international student admission process including initial assessment, Genuine Student (GS) assessment and issuing CoEs
- Preparing letters of offer, GS assessment and CoEs in line with the set standards and process
- Adhere to Company, State and Commonwealth legislation and requirements of EIT as an education provider.
- Ensuring all admissions compliances are met
- Provide accurate and consistent record keeping and maintain student, course enrolment details within PRISMS and the Institute’s student management system
- Liaising with agents, students and staff regarding admission and enrolment related queries
- Any other duties as designated by the Lead Admissions Officer.
