What will you be doing?

Reporting into the New South Wales Area Sales Manager, Advanced Wound Management, this is a critical role to assume total business management responsibility and achieve sales targets for assigned territory.

This territory will cover Hospital accounts in Sydney & South East Sydney, Local Health Districts.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Achieve budgeted sales, market share and focus products within assigned territory.
  • Maximise potential for territory through effective targeting and territory management.
  • Monitor territory sales progression to targets and initiate corrective action where appropriate.
  • Identify key targets to successfully expand sales of key Smith & Nephew brands.
  • Provide exceptional service to existing customers whilst proactively canvassing for new opportunities.
  • Provide in-service programmes, workshops and seminars where appropriate to customers.
  • Understand and fully comply with CRM ways of working (and all CRM system requirements)

Requirements:

Education

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Science related disciplines

Experience

  • Prior sales experience within the healthcare industry is critical.
  • Experience handling wound care or related medical consumables portfolio, essential.
  • Proven success selling into hospitals.

Technical Knowledge & Competencies

  • Strong selling skills and understanding of the selling process.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry in Australia
  • Solid commercial acumen
  • Highly focused on exceeding customer expectations
  • Good planning and execution skills
  • Attention to detail and committed to excellence.
  • Superior presentation and public speaking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
