AddressWe are seeking a hands on Hotel Manager for this busy property located in North Queensland.
The property features onsite motel accommodation, bars, restaurant and gaming facilities.
This role would suit a candidate who enjoys being the face of the business front of house in a hands on management role. You will need strong food & beverage and gaming experience.
As a coastal venue, this is the perfect location for candidates who enjoy spending time at the beach or fishing on their days off.
Package:
- $95,000 Salary Negotiable
- Free Accommodation & Meals (Two bedroom apartment)
Duties:
- Day to day management of the premises in a hands on capacity (bar, bistro, bottleshop, gaming, kitchen)
- Interact with patrons / local community and be present front of house
- Run promotions
- Stock control, ordering etc
- Staff rostering, management and training
- Liaise with local authorities as required (liquor licensing, police, council etc)
- Offer excellence in customer service
- Adhere to Liquor licensing / RSA
- General open / close of venue, cashing up, banking etc
- Other duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous hotel management experience (F&B predominately)
- Strong experience with stock control
- Ideally have previous remote area experience
- Hold or be able to obtain a QLD Approved Managers License
- Hold a current drivers license
- Forklift ticket desirable
