The Role
As the Business Development Manager, reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will focus on attracting and converting new corporate accounts, group business, leisure, wholesale, inbound and other Business Development opportunities. Your ability to craft and implement a robust sales strategy will be key to your success in this crucial role at our prestigious hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an Ambassador for Emporium Hotel South Bank, consistently exemplifying excellence
- Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in executing various projects as needed
- Ensure positive and productive interactions with our guests (both internal and external), upholding our commitment to exceptional service
- Respond promptly and professionally to all enquiries, including corporate rates, conferences, events, external and leisure groups
- Prepare presentations, quotes, and contracts for clients in alignment with brand guidelines and vision
- Provide monthly reports on industry updates, sales activities and results
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rates, packages, facilities, and operational details of the hotel to facilitate site inspections
- Achieve set sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and interstate sales trips
