Purpose of the role: The Hotel Service Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel and enhancing the overall guest experience. By overseeing guest services, staff management, wage control and compliance.
The Service Manager reports into the General Manager and contributes to the hotel's success by maintaining high standards of service, efficiency, and cleanliness. This role aims to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests while maximizing operational efficiency and profitability for the hotel.
The Service Manager serves as a leader, mentor, and problem-solver, striving to exceed guest expectations and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of Hotel Service delivery.
Requirements You will need previous experience in a similar role in order to maintain standards and help deliver our outstanding product to the tourism world.
-Previous experience in resort, hotel or hostel housekeeping - preferably at a supervisory level

Duties
-Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by overseeing all aspects of guest services, including check-in, check-out, and addressing guest inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously.
-Monitor guest feedback and implement strategies to continuously improve the business.
-Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff, including front desk agents, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
-Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, including room reservations, housekeeping and maintenance.
-Develop and implement efficient operational procedures to optimize workflow and minimize costs while maintaining high service standards.
-Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
-Manage inventory levels of hotel supplies and amenities, ensuring adequate stock while minimizing waste.
