Housekeeping Attendant

BIG4 Saltwater @ Yamba Holiday Park is set in 130 acres, right on the Clarence River. We are 10 minutes out of Yamba itself. The Park is a member of the BIG4 chain of Holiday Parks and is currently ranked the number 1 Holiday Park in Yamba on Trip Advisor. 

The successful applicant must be willing to work on weekends, school and public holidays. Preferably, we are looking for a person who is from the area. They will have a good work ethic, attention to detail and understand that customers are always right. We need someone who is honest and a good communicator. Someone who can work with a great team to build a destination that we can be proud of.

Your responsibilities will include;

• Cleaning cabins and other work areas so that health standards and guest standards are met
• Transport or carry linen, towels and cleaning supplies to areas to be cleaned
• Empty bins and transport waste to appropriate areas
• Ensure all cabin appliances are clean and in working order
• Report maintenance issues to Management
• Replenish supplies in rooms and other public areas
• Follow OH&S procedures ensuring safety for staff and guests at all times
• Observe precautions required to protect the site and guest property, report damage, theft and found articles to Management
• Keep storage areas well-stocked, clean and tidy
• Work in a positive team environment showing excellent customer service to guests

Knowledge, skills and attributes for this role include:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
