Job Description
The Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill has a great opportunity for a full time Housekeeping Manager for who is looking for a Hotel rebrand challenge and is ready to deliver memorable and unique guest experiences upon hotel opening and beyond.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Supervise and lead the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to maintain a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and maintenance of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Train and motivate housekeeping team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Foster a culture of care and collective success
About You
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in housekeeping role.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory management, including ordering and maintaining supplies.
- Attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- The desire to transition a Hotel through a rebrand to Accor and Mercure brand
- Full Australian working rights without restrictions.
