Salary Range of $32-$38 per hour (dependent on experience, skills and capabilities) plus 11% Superannuation
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administration Assistant to join our team on a Casual, part-time basis for approximately 3 months.
Our successful candidate will provide administration support to our HR team assisting with various HR functions across our organisation.
The Opportunity:
The HR Administration Assistant will be given the opportunity to gain valuable experience in HR administration whilst being an an integral part of our team. This role will be involved in the day to day administration support with responsibilities such as record keeping, documentation tracking, recruitment activities, onboarding, data entry and ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support recruitment function (drafting and posting adverts, scheduling of interviews, reference checks etc)
- Preparation of contracts as well as variation employment letters and effectively communicate variations with Payroll
- Preparation of student and secondee agreements
- Coordinating and supporting the onboarding process
- Actioning changes and updates into relevant HR systems
- Administration support to the Head of HR and wider HR team including meeting management, invoices, updating documentation etc
- Other administration tasks as per required
Our Successful Candidate:
- Advanced administration experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills including prioritising tasks
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and students at all levels of the organisation
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suites
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrates a ‘can do’ approach and takes initiative
- Aptitude for managing sensitive information
Working towards, or completed degree in HR, management or a related field will be considered advantageous
