We are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The role will support the company HR functions and be assisting with a variety of tasks, including recruitment, training and maintaining records.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with recruiting process such as reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, completing reference checks and following up with candidates
- Coordinate onboarding assignments and training sessions
- Compile and process employees documentation and records
- Maintaining various HR databases
- Assist the HR Manager with various administrative tasks and communicating with employees
- Support HR related training programs and workshops
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Assist with policies and procedures compliance
- Maintain training and competency records up to date to comply with Quality and WHS requirements
- Help maintain company intranet and company website

Experience and Qualifications required:
- Certificate III or higher in HR related field
- 2-3 years’ experience in a HR administrative role or similar
- Proven experience with maintaining employee records
- Intermediate level ability in MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Possession of, or the ability to qualify for, an Australian defence security clearance (baseline minimum, NV1 preferred)
