We are currently seeking applications for a Full Time HR Assistant based in our Tully Depot to assist the People and Culture Manager with providing human resources services to the organisation.
Key responsibilities/accountabilities:
- Administration service for employment matters in North Queensland locations.
- Assist the People & Culture Manager with providing advice and support to managers with employee relations matters including performance management in Nth Qld locations
- Assist in the documentation and guide Managers in conjunction with the People & Culture Manager through disciplinary processes to ensure all documentation and actions are appropriate with Blenners policies and legislative requirements.
- Act as a facilitator when required in disciplinary meetings and maintain appropriate records.
- Assist in the Company’s onboarding processes for all North Queensland Based team members in conjunction with the Recruitment Officer and Training Officer, including ensuring appropriate initial training and onboarding requirements have been completed and properly captured, including documentation, and recording of such requirements in the STEMS program
- Act as the facilitator for driver fatigue and log book breaches
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required
- Assist with collation of staff insight through employee surveys, discussions and meetings.
- Assist in the implementation of suggested human resources & people improvements
- Conduct exit interviews
- Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act in relation to employee records.
Qualifications & Experience :
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Diploma or Certificate IV in related disciplines (desirable)
