The opportunity:

A crucial role in delivering the People agenda and maximising the capability of our team, the People & Culture (HR) Business Partner works closely with senior retail leaders for our apparel brands across Australia and New Zealand. Based in our Richmond Support Office and reporting to the GM People & Culture, Brand Collective are looking for a resilient, adaptable and collaborative HR professional who thrives in fast-paced environments.

What your day will look like:

In this dynamic role, you are part of our People Leadership Team, with a P&C Coordinator reporting to you. You will identify and drive People initiatives to elevate the leadership capability of our people leaders. You will coach business leaders, collaborate with the wider People team and build strong relationships across the business to provide solution-orientated outcomes.

To achieve the above, you:

• Partner closely with our retail leadership teams to execute the people strategy
• Lead conversations (coaching, training and support) around team engagement, succession planning, change and talent management
• Lead and contribute to key strategic projects across the retail and wider people team
• Co-create an engaging and authentic team experience by understanding and applying both the strategic objectives of the company and the needs of our team
• Provide sound ER advice to your retail stakeholders
• Support the development of the P&C Coordinator.

The skills and experience we are looking for:

• Experience working in impactful HR Business Partnering roles
• Experience in Employment Relations (including but not limited to advice and investigations)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with wider People function to deliver HR strategies
• An ability to influence through strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
• Experience coaching/mentoring leaders regarding processes and initiatives such as career, talent development, remuneration and benefits discussions
• Degree qualification and experience within a fast-paced retail environment (ideal but not essential).
