The Opportunity
Here at Findex we are currently looking for a HR Business Partner to join our People & Culture team. This role will report into our Head of People Transformation, supporting and providing advice to leaders across our Advisory & Consulting division and multiple corporate portfolios. This is an initial 12 month maternity leave cover, with the flexibility to be based anywhere in Australia.
The HR Business Partner will work closely with the Senior Leaders within their respective divisions and corporate departments, with a key focus on employee engagement and retention strategies by advising and coaching leaders on performance management, development conversations and employee risks.
What will your typical week look like?
- Proactively leading teams to contribute to the engagement and performance of the division (this includes EDP, Coaching & Support Plans and Talent Management)
- Provide first level advice and guidance to leaders on policies, procedures, and employee matters
- Support Talent Mapping within the Division for future development and growth
- Support Succession Planning with a particular focus on Adviser Services
- Being a key stakeholder in the Salary Review Process via the division's respective leads

- Degree or Post Graduate qualifications in Human Resources or similar
- 5 + years' experience in Human Resources capacity
- Solid technical employee relations knowledge, including a detailed understanding of the Australian and New Zealand employment law landscape and contemporary best-practice approaches to employee relations
- Proven experience coaching and developing leaders on people management issues
- Strong stakeholder management, consulting, influencing and negotiation skills
