As they develop and mature as a national commercial business, they are focused on ensuring the ‘family feel’ remains part of the culture. They are currently looking for an HR Generalist to join the team and support day-to-day HR operations.About the Role
This newly created role exists for a seasoned and passionate HR Generalist. The future plan is to have a HR service delivery model set up nationally. In the interim and to help support that plan, this role will cover a broad remit, providing generalist, day-to-day HR support to senior leadership and operational leadership teams, while making suggestions for incremental improvements. The next 12-18 months will be a period of significant change, with the opportunity for this role to grow with the business and further develop the HR offering.Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the rollout of our new organisational structure
- Oversee and centralise the current recruitment process, implementing enhancements through our HR systems project, as well as supporting vacancies
- Review and standardise HR policies and procedures
- Review and standardise HR templates, including employment contracts and casual employment agreements
- Influence initiatives that will enhance team culture, engagement and satisfaction through surveys and action planning
You enjoy being hands-on, solving problems, and having a busy and varied role. Your multi-site experience will be valued as will your experience working with workforces that have a large casual cohort. You come with generalist skills as well as an understanding of awards and the employee relations framework. You are comfortable joining a business that is on a journey to mature its offering and working through that period with them.
