The role
Reporting to our GM People and Change, you will be responsible for partnering closely to key business units to provide operational advice and support across all People processes.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice and guidance on legislative and policy frameworks and systems relating to core human resource activities
- Supporting leaders across Sunwater in relation to complex human resource matters, including delivery of employee relations activities.
- Supporting the business with annual cyclical human resource programs including talent management, employee engagement, performance and development review processes
- Generating high quality analysis and insight into people metrics and reporting
- Supporting the business in developing current policies and procedures that are aligned to best practice within a human resource setting
Please note this role is a 12-month max term contract.
About you
Having Tertiary qualifications in a HR Management, Business or a related field, you will have prior experience in an HR generalist position with experience in Organisational Development and Design, the ability to engage and influence at all levels. You will have an exceptional customer service mindset with strong commercial and consulting acumen.
In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:
- SME knowledge and application in HR Management or relevant discipline
- Previous exposure to organisational development, performance management, succession planning and remuneration processes
- Experience providing advice on human resource related policies and procedures within a government or compliance-focused environment
- Ability to build trusted relationships across the business
- Resilience; and the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving organisation
