Key responsibilities include:
- Establish relationships with Senior and Line Manager to provide professional advice, coaching and support in the implementation of HR strategies and resolve HR issues.
- Review employment contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
- Provision of reports, analysis, briefings and other forms of written advice.
- Manage and resolve employee relations and WHS cases, ensuring that these are well managed and meet the requirements of the company policies, best practice and employment legislation.
- Assist in the development and delivery of people focused cultural change initiatives and employee engagement action plans to build and sustain a constructive and safe workplace culture. Ensure expected behaviours are embedded for both leaders and team members supporting future business strategies and growth.
- Contribute to effective recruitment, selection and on-boarding processes.
About you
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Resilience to cope with competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Strong influencing skills to manage stakeholder engagement
- Hands on, computer savvy with attention to detail.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR and / or relevant experience
- Experience with Work Rights, WHS and Modern Awards interpretation.
- Driver's Licence
- Experience in a retail / franchised dealer network with both white- and blue-collar roles would be highly regarded.
