ABOUT THE COMPANY.Our Client based in South-West Sydney, is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team. You will be expected to demonstrate your strong communication skills and previous experiences in a Business Partnering position, consulting and providing advice to a range of business units across Council.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
An initial 6 month contract. Your role as a HR BP is to provide strategic leadership and advice to Council. You will support managers in their roles as leaders and provide clear HR information, alongside assisting the implementation of multiple HR projects.
DUTIES.
* Foster working relationships with business unit managers
* Employee relations, remuneration and benefits, WH&S, change management and learning & development
* Apply IR skills to coach managers and manage work performance
* Interpret employment legislation and industrial awards
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
* Tertiary qualifications in HRM or relevant
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant role
* Previous experience working for Local Council
* Experience and skills in HR and WHS policy and procedures reviewal
