Our Hays Sydney CBD office is seeking a full-time permanent Senior HR Business Partner. You will be responsible for delivering the HR strategic plan developed by the central People & Culture (P&C) team incorporating onboarding, local training, talent management, leadership development, change management, engagement and culture initiatives, employee relations, as well as develop people solutions, to achieve Hays objectives. This role reports into our Senior HR Manager.
Your new role
- Deliver exceptional people management and culture services to our internal stakeholders
- Coach, deliver training and empower managers on all aspects of people management, with a focus on driving performance
- Bring a demonstrated strength in employee relations and Australian employment law by providing consultation for grievances, investigations and performance management issues; advising on policies, programs, and procedures.
- Run the full life cycle of our people processes, including but not limited to on-boarding, annual talent management processes, promotion processes, succession planning, workforce planning, the exit off-boarding process
- Execute HR Projects including Employee Engagement Survey results analysis, attrition analysis and programming, wellness programs, DEI initiatives
- Partner with the broader People Performance and Culture team to share best practices and ensure consistency of approach
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HR Business Partner role.
- Strong internal consulting and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects and implement change initiatives.
- High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of current people management practices and trends.
- Ability to think critically and commercially to drive positive outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
