About the Role
As an HR Consultant you will be supporting clients across state and federal employment and industrial laws across a range of HR/IR issues.
You will:
- Undertake complex workplace investigations involving serious disciplinary issues.
- Develop and deliver training / workshops.
- Drafting a broad range of HR/IR document including policies, disciplinary notice, performance improvement plans, employment agreements etc.
- Research technical matters including legislation and case law.
- Provide coaching and support to leaders on complex employee performance and misconduct processes.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of HR legislation and practices.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary Qualification in HR or equivalent experience/qualifications
- Extensive experience operating as a HR Consultant/HR Business Partner in private or public sector organisation.
- Strong technical knowledge of employment legislation (modern awards, applicable Acts).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
