We are seeking an outstanding and passionate HR Coordinator to join the HR Team. This is an ideal role for someone seeking to establish a career in HR and be part of the fashion industry. This is a fixed term contract until the end of 2024 with a view to permanent at the end of the year.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The main responsibilities will include assisting the HR Manager with:
- Full ownership of operational HR administrative duties: on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, recruitment, dealing with employee HR queries, and other related admin duties;
- Partner with people leaders (in Head Office and Ferragamo Stores) and provide support in the effective delivery of people strategies and hands-on management of people issues in the business;
- Be the first point of contact for all internal and external HR related enquiries.
- Respond as appropriate utilising knowledge of HR frameworks, policies and systems;
- Manage various reports and other related documents;
- Supporting full end-to-end recruitment, promoting collaborative approaches to achieve the strategic and operational priorities of the business ensuring the attraction and engagement of a quality workforce;
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in a similar HR generalist role with operational responsibility;
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources is desired but not essential;
- Experience in the retail or similar industry is preferred;
- Good knowledge and demonstrated understanding of Fair Work and HR best practices in Australia;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
