We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HR professional to join our Corporate office team as a HR Advisor, based in Welshpool. This role supports our Perth based team PMG trading as Perth Motor Bodies and our Pilbara dealerships.

24 years on it now has locations covering the Pilbara region and selling the market leading brands- Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu Ute, ARB & employing over 250 people living locally and in the Pilbara region.
Supporting the dealerships in Welshpool is our operation Perth Motor Bodies- consisting of pre-delivery workshop (vehicle fit out), fabrication workshop, paint shop and corporate office.

Responsibilities and duties:
- Managing the recruitment and selection process
- Direct personnel on-boarding, training, complete setup of system access for 6 company sites across WA
- Processing and generating letters of offer/employment contracts and associated employment documentation
- Provide employee relations advice to managers and employees at all company locations, including dispute resolution and grievances
- Coach managers and employees on performance matters
- Consistently update and implement, current and new policies and procedures as per government guidelines
- Maintaining and updating HR administrative records in accordance with company policy
- Develop, implement and continually improve WHS management systems
- Work with employees to ensure a safe working environment is provided
- Complete and monitor all Worker’s compensation claims
- Facilitating employee immigration applications as required and ensuring all legal requirements are consistently met
- Coordinating employee related events
- Assisting with employee attendance and payroll duties
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR Generalist/Advisor role
- Qualification in human resources, management or related business discipline
- Demonstrated experience as a HR Advisor in a multi-site business, with exposure to most facets of the employment life cycle;
- A strong understanding of HR legislation and requirements and the ability to interpret and provide advice regarding the application of the Fair Work Act, awards, policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build professional relationships with staff and clients to resolve issues effectively
- Extremely organised and thorough in all tasks
- Proficient in a range of human resources duties including onboarding/offboarding staff, performance reviews, implementing new policies and procedures and staying up to date with current legislative requirements
- Dedicated to upholding company policies and WHS standards in all aspects of work
- Reliable, motivated and committed to ongoing professional development
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
- Ability to work autonomously
