About the role
We are seeking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to support our Gas business in Zinfra.
The core scope of the HR Manager is to partner with our leadership team to bring to life safety and people commitments. Along with three direct reports, you will collaborate with your stakeholders and HR team to design, influence and implement solutions and initiatives that enable the delivery of strategic and operational business objectives.
Supporting teams in key locations across metro Sydney, ACT, NT, QLD, TAS and VIC, our workforce consists of a dynamic mix of operational professionals and technical field staff. The role is expected to be based in our Greystanes depot at least two days per week and will require occasional travel to other sites.
Key Outcomes
- Partner with stakeholders to create and support the delivery of the Gas Services Safety & People plan
- Collaborate with the HR and Safety team to design and influence practical and fit-for-purpose initiatives and solutions to support business outcomes
- Coach and develop HR Business Partners to build capability and enable effective ways of working
- Build leadership capability and work with leaders to enable a diverse and inclusive workplace
- Work with the HR Manager team to connect dots from a broader Zinfra perspective, knowledge share and manage BP engagement, capability and team effectiveness
- Facilitate cyclical people processes and relevant action plans i.e. talent, succession, performance and remuneration review and engagement
- In partnership with the Workplace Relations team you will support with EA negotiations, award interpretation, change and communication planning
About You
To set yourself up for success, you likely come from a similar role in a comparable industry and are seeking a role with greater breadth where you can influence and engage a wide stakeholder group.
- Tertiary qualifications in human resource management or a related discipline
- Experience in a matrix organisation with multi-site utility, resource and/or infrastructure industry environment
- Expert knowledge of Australian Employment legislation and experience negotiating and interpreting awards, agreements and legislation
- Change leadership and how to apply different methodologies to embed change
- Substantial knowledge of key cyclical HR process i.e. talent, succession, performance and remuneration review and engagement and the through partnering to support actions.
- Commercial and consultative approach to balance strategic and operational activity
