About the Unit
The Yara Pilbara Fertilisers' plant is one of the largest ammonia production sites in the world and we have also taken the ammonia process further downstream with the Yara Pilbara Nitrates Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) plant, a joint venture with Orica. Together with ENGIE, Yara Pilbara will also build a renewable hydrogen plant to produce renewable ammonia.

Responsibilities
Looking for an exciting new challenge? Yara are seeking applications for a HR Office for a 12-month Fixed Term position. This position will be located in Perth with regular travel to Yara's production site in regional WA. Reporting to the HRBP, the HR Officer supports the HR team, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, payroll processes, employee assistance and administration. This position is responsible for the delivery of a high quality, flexible service, responsive to the needs of the organisation, and in line with legislative requirements and best practice.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Champion Yara's values of Curiosity, Accountability, Collaboration and Ambition.
- End to end recruitment, including relocations.
- Employee on-boarding, orientations and off-boarding.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Employee Support - Respond to employee queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in the management and coordination of annual HR processes.
- Support and coordinate company events and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Support the Payroll process and benefits tracking.
- Deliver and support HR Projects.
- Administrative tasks including file management and purchasing.

Profile
Required:
- Minimum Diploma in Human Resources
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, or related field is desirable.
- Proven experience as a HR Officer or Recruitment Advisor within heavy industry
- Knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Fluent verbal and written English is essential.
