About the Opportunity – Finance Officer
Newton and Henry offer specialised financial administration and book-keeping services to our clients and the opportunity is for you to carve a career as a Finance Officer.
The Finance Officer is a fantastic blend of client services and compliance, and Newton & Henry have a proven track-record for developing Finance Officers into true finance professionals.
Day-to-day you are responsible for a range of financial support services including payroll, creditor management, invoicing and preparation of management reports. Working across all aspects of financial administration and processing, while continuing to develop your technical expertise surrounded by accounting professionals.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a strong administrator with an eye for detail, high levels of accuracy and excellent numerical literacy.
If you have previous book-keeping experience, are eager to develop your professional career as a Finance Officer and demonstrate the below attributes we would love to hear from you.
- a passion for providing professional service with excellent outcomes
- strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to confidently liaise with both staff and clients
- excellent time management skills
- outstanding and proven attention to detail
- strong work ethic and good attitude
- experience with Xero and/or MYOB
- previous experience processing payroll
