The position
This exciting new position has the scope to make a positive impact and build on already solid foundations. HR+ is a high functioning team with a values aligned culture and an organisation that prioritises staff wellbeing.
The Human Resources officer is a full-time position within our Corporate Services team reporting directly to our Business Manager.
You will:
- Utilise your extensive knowledge and experience in human resource management processes to deliver top-tier support and recommendations.
- Bring your expertise to our team in order to implement a Reward and Recognition program, staff professional development, review of recruitment, onboarding and exit processes.
- Foster internal networking between teams and introduce new activities to enhance our culture and inject some fun—because a sense of humour is non-negotiable!
As we expand and all teams are growing larger, we need to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach is continued. We want to maintain our one-of-a-kind culture as a fun, innovative place to work that has a positive impact on the community.

The organisation
HR+ is a not-for-profit incorporated association contracted by the Australian and Tasmanian governments to recruit and retain general practitioners, nursing and allied health professionals in Tasmania, with an emphasis on rural and remote communities. Our organisation is one of seven Rural Workforce Agencies funded by the Australian Government nationally. HR+ also delivers the Health Workforce Scholarship Program and are a registered NDIS provider of Coordination of Supports and Plan Management.
The HR+ main office is in Launceston and the position is based within this office. The office has been fitted out with the latest technology and the greenery is multiplying by the day. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of co-workers and management that would bend over backwards to help you out.
