Hr Officer | Aged Care

On behalf of our client, an Aged Care facilities business with homes across Sydney. We are looking for an HR Officer to join the business permanently. This role will be based in the office in Crow’s Nest, however, will also require this person to go to the homes across Sydney. 

This role offers flexibility to work from home. 

The main purpose of this role is to manage the internal Admin within HR, recruitment, onboarding, and ER matters. This will be a stand-alone role and report to the Director of Operations. 

The ideal candidates will have a breadth of experience within HR and Talent within Aged Care. The business has a family feel, they are close-knit and passionate about their core values of caring more, diversity and realising potential. 

The business is looking for a self-starter, someone who is motivated and a people person, and someone who is confident with assisting with the team and fostering a friendly and positive work environment. 

Key responsibilities:

• Recruitment and onboarding 
• Working with the team and operations in the homes 
• Drafting documentation and policies 
• Administration, ensure all compliance is followed. 
• Supporting ER matters 
• Working with the different departments 
• Ad-hoc projects 
• Mentoring and supporting other members 
• Working with the leadership team on projects 
• Upskilling staff
• Being the go-to person for employees for HR-related tasks \
   

Key Requirements

• 3 -6 years experience within HR 
• Experience in ER matters and WHS 
• Ability to work towards deadlines 
• Strong communication skills 
• Willing to roll up their sleeves, reliable and a yes person.
