We are seeking an Internal HR Recruitment Officer to join our Human Resources team based at head office in Morningside.
In this internal recruitment role, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding of employees to support operational requirements while fostering our strong company culture.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner and working closely with Operational Managers, this role will be part of a wider internal HR team providing support, assistance and advice to various sites across New Zealand
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding Scaffolders, Rope Access Technicians, Industrial Blaster Painters, Labourers, Supervisors, Engineers, Finance and Administration positions and other similar positions across all New Zealand business units, while complying with all HR systems, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- End to end recruitment, this includes; Advertising, screening of resumes, shortlisting, scheduling interviews and coordination of the pre-employment checks
- Coordinating the onboarding process including preparing letters of offer in conjunction with relevant Employee Agreements, mobilisation of employees to site and coordination of induction processes.
- Create and maintain a talent pool to reduce the reliance on labour-hire.
- Manage and maintain employee records through the HR Recruitment and Information Systems (PageUp and SRG’s ESS system)
- Collaborate with mangers to identify future resourcing needs.
- Provide back up and support to the broader HR team.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Previous Recruitment experience (preferred)
- Experience in the Industrial industry or Construction or similar
- Strong interpersonal/verbal communication skills – must be able to establish relationships and communicate effectively at all levels involved on and off-site.
- Professional standards and an appreciation for confidentiality.
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on compliance/QA
- Intermediate Microsoft Word & Excel processing skills.
