AO6 Senior Infrastructure Officer (ICT)
All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Officer
for a temporary role for 6 months with possibility for extension.
- AO6 pay scale
- Brisbane CBD location
The Senior Infrastructure Officer will undertake activities in the development effort and support of ICT services, systems, and solutions. You will be involved with projects from the time of conception and will be a key contributor to functional analysis in developing technical requirements, and implementing changes.
Duties include:
- Utilising your strong configuration management skills and experience using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager/InTune or equivalent to:
- Ensure that windows and security updates are deployed to End-User compute devices
- Create, manage, and deploy application packages
- Utilising your demonstrated experience within the Microsoft Server and Azure environments you will maintain system support processes and check that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures. Use application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports.
- Undertake routine installations and de-commissioning of items including hardware and/or software and systems within a Microsoft Server and/or Azure environment. Take action to ensure targets are met within established safety and quality procedures, including, where appropriate, handover to the client.
- Conduct tests of hardware, software, systems, and services using defined test procedures and diagnostic tools. Correct malfunctions, calling on other experienced colleagues and external resources if required.
- Document details of all hardware/software, systems or service items that have been installed and removed so that configuration management records can be updated. Develop installation procedures and standards, and schedule installation work.
- Manage configuration items (CIs) and related information. Apply and maintain tools, techniques and processes for identification, classification and control of CIs and ensuring related information is complete, current, and accurate.
- Initiate and monitor actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems and services. Assist with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
- Assess, analyse, develop, documents and implement changes based on requests for change.
Requirements:
- Recent experience in a similar role with at least 2 years
- Implementation and support experience within configuration management, Azure, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Windows Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and execute a large workload.
