AddressSchwarz Excavations and Civil was founded in 1994 in Lobethal, Adelaide Hills, South Australia. We aim to be the earthmoving and civil contractor of choice to private and government customers in the Adelaide Hills and regional South Australia. We undertake earthmoving and quarrying activities for roads, rail, power and housing. Position Summary:As the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Administrator, the successful applicant will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our company’s quality, safety, and environmental objectives. They will have great communication, exceptional time management and computer skills. They will have the ability to communicate with employees from all levels of the organisation to arrange internal meetings and audits to continuously test the compliance within the business for the external yearly auditing processes. They will be confident in undertaking independent work in a small team environment.
Task and Responsibilities:- Responsible for maintaining, implementing and improving our company’s quality, safety, and environmental objectives.
- Provide exceptional organisational and administrational skills that allow us to continually meet civil industry requirements.
- Comfortable to regularly communicate with employees and external officers.
- Working with Microsoft Office, Google Programs and Aroflo.
- Enthusiastic team member and open to doing tasks outside of scope.
- Take initiative in management of your job role.
- Comfortable working in a small team environment but mainly independently.
- Maintain a high working standard whilst creating an enjoyable working environment.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar Health, Safety and Environmental position, preferably in the construction industry.
- Previous work with ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 will be an advantage.
- Above award wages.
- Flexible hours, ideally full time, or school hours at a minimum.
- Hybrid working option (3 days per week minimum in office).
- Working within a small team, family owned and operated.
- Workplace is located in the Adelaide Hills.
- Personal office workspace.
